Yankee Chops Euro Drops Part 2

“Yankee Chops, Euro Drops – Part II” is the second attempt at something I started a year ago under the name DJJP. The mashups in this album, much like those in the first “Yankee Chops, Euro Drops” released in February 2011, are backed by tunes that have been pretty successful this year in the electronic (house) music scene. Most of the mashes in this album have been put together during the Spring and Summer of 2011 in an attempt to make the growing electronic dance music scene more accessible to the mainstream college crowd. I think you will find that the sound is more refined in this album than in the first “Yankee Chops, Euro Drops”- you’ll notice that there are two discs on the album. The first disc has all of the songs mixed up as I would at a live gig and is great for a continuous party playlist, while the second disc has the long club mixes of all of the songs for DJs looking to use them in their own sets.
