Young musicians Clay Maxey and Justin Tornberg are no strangers to fusion. Natives to Tucson, Arizona, the duo calls home a state that has tamed the blistering terrain and blended it with modern technology. It is in this same way that the mash-up artists successfully blend music from conflicting genres under the name Clay & Justin. Clay & Justin’s 2010 formation has brought diverse mash-ups of artists ranging from Kanye West and Notorious BIG down to rock and roll bands local to the duo’s hometown. Constantly hard at work, the twosome has already created over 50 mash-ups and are in full swing to create more.
